Following the boards on Purdue gives insight on why we stop recruiting someone but publically it is not known until weeks or months later..... or why suddenly someone no one has ever heard of suddenly is signed! I have seen a pattern of both with Painter Purdue's scholarships and recruiting! He and most other coaches don't make press announcements when someone they want doesn't want them or is having problems qualifying with the NCAA.

Girls side is the same with Sky, yeah we are still in the running publically recruiting her but the coaches have a very good idea if she will be comming our way or not and recruit others who may end up with Purdue!
