I have no clue how good this kid is, but I guarentee you it can only be a good move if Painter believes in the kid. It seems like EVERY SINGLE YEAR we have defections, so you can't look at the scholie grid as something carved in stone. These kids aren't dumb anymore and neither are the coaches, if guys like Buckley, Minnoy, Lutz, or Martin see they won't be starting, they will transfer. And whose to say the coaching staff doesn't try to get some of them to transfer to clear up a scholarship for a better player coming in? So in my opinion, its completely ridiculous to state that we won't be able to get a top big man the next year because there are no more scholarships, because the coaches will find a way.
