Could academics play a role in more already committed players from Florida not ending up at Purdue? Faustin may not be the only one.
I don't know, but one of the reasons Tiller focused on Texas was that the HS academic requirements for FB players appeared to be in place. California and Florida have poor academics in HS. (Certainly was not the case when Pat Brown was Governor, but that's another story)
This suggests we should recruit in Texas and Virginia, where there are both athletes and academic standards.
