Smith is definitely an athlete though and Coach Hope loves speed and athleticism. Depending on how the schollys are going to fall if we can get him I say we take him and figure out where he plays later. Check out his video on the Rivals football board if you are interested. Smith reminds me of Deering...he has played quarterback, running back, receiver, safety.
We have a kicker visiting this weekend as well. He is from the same high school as the Mainland crew.Once again, not sure two schollys should be used on kickers with another going to a long snapper but these are important positions come game time. Increasing the competition level is something Hope wants as well and if all of these guys kick as well as their videos look our special teams could be impressive in the future.
