Victoria Oglesby decommits from Dayton

A player Purdue had scouted recently decommitted from Dayton. Victoria Oglesby, a 5'8 guard from Suwanee (GA), reopened her recruitment following the resignation of Dayton head coach Jim Jabir. Oglesby got early press for being one of the top guards in her class, but suffered ACL tears in back to back years. She is also one of the better students in the 2018 class. She just opened things back up today, so no word yet on who might be making contact.

This and That

Over the past couple weeks ... 2017 point guard Dana Evans committed to Louisville ... 2017 post Madison Treece chose Duke ... 2017 point guard Kiana Williams reduced her list to Baylor, Stanford, and Oregon State ... 2018 guard Katlyn Gilbert chose Notre Dame.

Big Ten Recruiting

Deja Church, a 5'10 guard from Southfield (MI) picked Minnesota last Friday. Ranked No. 67 by Prospects Nation, she averaged 19 points per game as a junior. She brings Minnesota up to two 2017 commitments so far.

Penn State received their second 2017 commitment from Alisia Smith, a 6'3 center from Lansing (MI).

2019 Bree Boles' decommitment from Indiana was tempered a bit by Indiana's third commitment for the class of 2017. Keyanna Warthen, a 5'10 guard from Fort Lauderdale (FL), averaged 20.1 points, 10.5 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 4.8 steals last season. Indiana now has the most committed players in the Big Ten for 2017, at three.
