Early word is the Purdue women's basketball team will participate in the 2012 Paradise Jam in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. The tournament, slated for November 22-24, is said to have commitments to date from Purdue, UCONN and DePaul for the eight-team field. Following the pattern of previous years, look for DePaul and Purdue to land in the same division with UCONN is the opposite division. The official announcement of all the participants will not come until May.
