2008 Indiana All-Star team alternates called up
In some disturbing news, Indianapolis Police have charged Indiana All-Star Larretha Draughon for robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, and three additional Class B felonies in connection with a foiled criminal act at a Long John Silver's restaurant. Word is that Draughon will be replaced by Butler recruit Kaley May of Avon.
The All-Stars will also be without Brownsburg forward Lauren Taylor, who will leave the area early in June to attend summer school at New Mexico. Taylor's spot has been filled by 6'0 Indiana State guard Deja Maddox. Maddox was one of the state leaders in scoring, averaging 21.2 points per game.
The All-Star Games are June 13 at Conseco Fieldhouse against Kentucky and June 15 at Louisville, Ky.
